You survived. Ready to live?

Maybe treatment just ended and nobody told you what comes next. Maybe you're high-risk and done waiting for something to go wrong. Maybe something has just shifted and you know there's more—more health, more power, more life available to you.

Your body isn't broken. It's responding to the environment you're giving it. And you have more power than you think to shift that environment, your terrain, in ways that support deep, lasting healing.

The 364 days between screenings? That's where your power lives. Not in the oncologist's office. Here. In your daily choices. In how you nourish, move, rest, and care for your body.

This is where you take it back.

Work With Me.

I work with a small number of women 1:1 who are ready to go deeper than a guide can take them.

Maybe you've just been diagnosed. Maybe treatment just ended and nobody told you what comes next. Maybe you're high-risk and done waiting to feel better. Maybe something has shifted and you know it's time.

Whatever brought you here, your body is not broken. And you don't have to figure this out alone.

Together we build a personalized terrain plan that fits your biology, your history, and your life. We look at the root causes—not just the symptoms. And we do the deeper work of figuring out who you are and what you want on the other side of this.

This is terrain-based coaching, using embodiment and evidence-backed somatic practices to create the next. Deeply personal. Built around you.

Meet Tara.

I'm Tara Elmore—an ICF-certified coach, Terrain Advocate, co-founder of Complex Creatures, 9-year breast cancer thriver, and former Photo Director | Producer with nearly 20 years in visual storytelling and production. My career started in magazines at ELLE DECOR and Architectural Digest before moving into retail at One Kings Lane and then, eventually being on my own for 10 years.

For two decades I was the person who took a vision and made it real—assembling world-class teams that vibe, building the roadmap, and getting it done at the highest level. I was good at it because I could read any room, anticipate what everyone needed, and keep the whole thing on track and on budget.

What I didn’t realize until cancer stopped me: I was doing that for everyone except myself.

Recovering from people-pleasing turns out to look a lot like producing. You get clear on the vision. You identify your non-negotiables. You stay focused on priority. And you say no to everything that doesn’t fit — not because you’re rigid, but because you know exactly what you’re building.

I learned the hard way what it costs when you don’t protect it.

When I was 37, my husband found a tumor that changed everything. Life was ‘on track’ from the outside—we’d bought a house, had great jobs in the city. From the inside I’d been self-abandoning for years. Cancer made me stop. And listen.

Treatment has a roadmap. Doctors, protocols, a clear path forward. But after? You're on your own. Nobody handed me a roadmap for that part—so I built one. Nine years of research, tested protocols, co-founding Complex Creatures—a clean breast wellness brand born from everything I wished I had. This work is the result of all of it.

I'm not precious about this work. I'm practical. I'm direct, and yes into all the witchy things if you want to go there with me. And I've lived every single thing I teach.

My catalyst was cancer. But any moment where the old version of you stops working—that's enough. Burnout. A diagnosis. A relationship ending. A life that doesn't fit anymore. Something in you shifting and you knowing it's time.

You don't have to figure out what comes next alone.

Frequently asked questions.

  • If something in you is saying "it's time"—it probably is. You're ready when you're done waiting to feel better and actually want to do something about it, but you aren’t sure how to move forward or how to get new behaviors to stick. Still not sure? Book a free clarity call and we'll figure it out together.

  • Absolutely. Cancer was my catalyst—but any portal moment can be. Burnout. A diagnosis. A relationship ending. Turning 40 and realizing the life you built doesn't fit anymore. A health scare that woke something up. If something has shifted and you know it's time—that's enough. This work is for any woman (or man!) ready to stop waiting and start living differently.

  • We meet via Zoom, in a 100% confidential, nothing is TMI or off-limits safe environment and we build a personalized terrain plan based on your biology and history, and work through both the practical protocols and the deeper stuff that makes them actually stick. It's not just what to do—it's building the life where doing it is possible.

  • Coaching is forward-focused. We look at where you are, where you want to be, and build the bridge between them. We may look to the past for clues, but this is not therapy or medical advice.

  • Coaching isn't covered by insurance. We're actively working on HSA/FSA eligibility.

  • All sessions are final sale.

  • Investment starts at $700. Reach out to discuss what's right for you—payment plans are available and I never want money to be the reason someone doesn't get support.
